Max is a fucking dump. Got the 50% half off price in Denmark when they released HBO Max. Then max is released, and my subscription was changed to full HD, when I had 4K. No worries, my TV is 1080p only anyway (it’s old, top of the line 2012 model, no HDR or anything fancy, but I’m cheap, so I’ll get a new one when it breaks , hopefully tomorrow lol), so I kept the subscription.
Last month, I got an ad on a single Rock and Morty episode. Last weekend, I got ads on everything. Cancelled straight away. Anything on Max, Prime or Disney somehow ust magically appears on my Plex when I add the movie/series on the watchlist.
Per year. And lets not talk about his stock options and other benefits… Fucking disgusting.
Oh dang, I hadn’t thought of about that, and it’s a very good solution!
Oh, I totally agree, but if we use the example in the article, how would the EU be able to prove LinkedIn’s revenue? These companies are shifting their money around so they don’t have to pay tax.
Board of Directors. Entire C-suite on trial. People with 10% or more ownership of shares. That would change things.
Oh, emails were deleted and couldn’t be recovered? CTO is at fault. Skip start, go straight to jail.
The process was skype.exe, so Lync was Skype with a skin.
Blast from the freaking past! Wow, you just unlocked some memories for me.
But it does make financial sense - for Sony.
Got a PS5 last year. My 13-year old computer died this year (used for old games, as it had a 960 in it lol), and it made me happy, cause I had a reason to buy a new one, which cost the same as the PS5 Pro. PS5 will also be my last console (can we call the Steam deck a console? I’m getting one next year anyway). Gaming on computers these days just makes more sense.
I’ve enjoyed my PS5 subscription, but that’s because I’m a patient gamer, so getting a gigantic library of games I wanted to play was easy to pay for, but a year later, I’ve gone through the games I wanted to play. I haven’t powered it on for the past 3 months 😂 not worth paying for, but my subscription ends in November 2025 (subscribed years ago, before the price hike), so I might get a few more games out of it.
A schooner is a sailboat, stupidhead.
Too true.
Jesus Christ! We need to ban it now!
Did you know there’s an abundance of H²O in the world, and that it kills people every year? It can literally kill you, so we need to ban it!
Found captain Jack Sparrow.
I’ve been a console gamer since the PS1. I’ve also gamed on computers for way longer than that. I just find the consoles easier, as it’s plug and play, and no need to constantly upgrade my computer.
This has been a fact for me until now. Got the PS5 2 years after release, and had a fucking blast with it, while the computer I built 13 years ago is used for other stuff than gaming. It took it’s last breath about two months ago.
I then got myself a brand new computer with a RTX4060ti, and I installed RDR2 to see how it compared to the PS4 version, and it blew my mind when I added mods (fucking hell, mods are easier to install today than 15-20 years ago lol). Then I bought Baldurs Gate 3.
The price of the PS5 Pro comes out more expensive than my computer. I’ll continue playing some games on the PS5, but the pro can fuck off, and the PS6 will probably never come into my house, as I am done with consoles. I’d rather buy ANOTHER gaming computer and hook it up in the living room.
Nah man, what we need is an AAAAAAA+ game. Price will be $3400 so the company can recuperate the cost of making the game, and everyone will buy it! It’s how slaves gamers work, right?
Cool. Now where’s my $102 million bonus for reinventing the gaming market?
I got wireless charging from the vaccine! Too bad it only works where there’s lots of blood circulation, so it only works when I’m erect.
Ok, I want to pyrography this. Saved to see if I can find a large version.
WiFi connection? Monthly subscription.
That’s awesome!
