I’m very excited for Apreras vehicles and hope they are successful. Their whole philosophy is hyper efficient vehicles and they are committed to open repair and bring consumer friendly.

They seem to be the only company making cars or attempting to make cars that makes a point to say that they will make it as easy as possible for you to control, repair and fix your own vehicle.

I also use Firefox on my work computer, I need to quickly authorize a login in the browser before the local “app” opens (“app” because it’s just a webpage pretending to be an app) and I just recently got a notification that slack won’t support Firefox anymore so please switch to chrome. Na driverless cars are the future and tens of thousands of people will be saved from car accident deaths per year once most cars are automated. And this may happen in my lifetime which is cool.

100000000%, beyond the fact that I don’t want to pay a thousand different subscriptions, I also much prefer having everything in jellyfin or Plex. I don’t want to mess around with all these crappy streaming apps, each with their own set of limited functionality or handicaps.

Also, why would I want to watch low bitrate streams when I can get full quality Blu-ray rips. Hopefully someday streaming platforms will offer full bitrate video, as physical media will probably go away over time.
