this is actually wild. i have no defense for nazis either but using your federation privileges like this is abuse of the system. midwest.social is not the only instance on the fediverse and instances that are receptive to this content being pushed across fedi are beholden to local law. i have petitioned my admin to defederate midwest.social as i want my instance to stay online.

counterpoint, learn nondestructive editing and you can use any image tool you want that supports it. IMO this is a far nore useful skill than investing time into one app that can’t even do nondestructive🥲

I’m with you. For my part I am trying to just encourage a space of positivity under these memes, listening to women express their stories of course because that was the original point.

But then once that is said and done, I don’t recommend we ever come back to the bear hypothetical, double down on it, or encourage any man to take it personally. Because yeah while it grabs attention, it’s also rhetorically just very inefficient compared to something as simple as posting bell hooks memes.
