China has been willing to do phone manufacturing FDI. India was planning massive solar factories and other manufacturing back when they had a US export market. China has the expertise to accelerate India’s manufacturing for its market. China is certain to dominate all of Asia now, and get better cooperation.
The nuclear option on chips, is if NL, JPN, Taiwan repudiate US export controls that is inherently a colonial choice.
Why would Russia care about Taiwan?
